    organization. The Associate Director of MAS-CSP at Scripps
    Institution of Oceanography assumes lead responsibility for on-going

11. At-Sea Biologist

  * Description: CFF is seeking a part-time employee to participate in
    off-shore research trips as an at-sea biologist. An ideal candidate
    should be seaworthy and familiar with fish identification and
    measurement processes. The majority of research trips will last
    eight days or less and will be completed during the summer months,
    however trips may be completed year-round. The majority of the
    research will be conducted aboard scallop vessels and focus on
    bycatch reduction or gear testing. The trip schedule will require

12. Assistant Scientist, Marine Natural Capital

  * Description: This position will co-lead the development of a
    framework for mapping marine ecosystems ("marine natural capital")
    that are important for human well-being. To make the link between
    the people who rely on these ecosystems and the condition of the
    ecosystems themselves, we need to understand how people access and
    utilize marine natural capital.  The position would help to convene
    a small workshop to develop spatial models for how people might
    access or harvest essential marine natural capital.  This position
    would then work with potential models to explore how we could use
