The Oregon Institute of Marine Biology (http://oimb.uoregon.edu) and the
Department of Biology (http://biology.uoregon.edu) at the University of
Oregon invite applications for a tenure-track (Assistant Professor)
position in marine biology based at OIMB in Charleston, Oregon.
Individuals whose research interests are appropriate for a marine
laboratory and whose teaching interests would add breadth to our Marine
Biology major are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will
have an outstanding research program and a commitment to excellence in
teaching. Ph.D. required. Candidates who promote and enhance diversity
are welcome to apply. Interested persons should apply online to the

a cover letter, a curriculum vitae including a publication list, a
statement of research accomplishments and future research plans, a
description of teaching experience and philosophy, and three letters of

October 15, 2014, but the search will remain open until the position is
filled.
