*POSTDOCTORAL POSITION at THE PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY*
A postdoctoral scientist position is available in the Lab of Prof. Melik 
C. Demirel. We are seeking a highly qualified scientist to assist in the 
development and design of biologically inspired materials. The candidate 
must possess a PhD degree in biochemistry, biology or molecular biology 
with lab experience in Marine Biology. The candidate must have an 
excellent track record of original research (i.e., high impact 
publications), and the ability to work as part of a team (i.e., 
engineers and materials scientists). The candidate will be responsible 
for marine and molecular biology studies of biomaterials extracted from 
various marine organisms.

The position is for one year, with possibility extension up to 2 years 
contingent on funding and satisfactory performance.
