Education and Research Coordinator: Maryland Sea Grant - Applications Due: February 1, 2012.
Maryland Sea Grant is seeking to fill a position (up to one year) to assist the Sea Grant Interim Director in the daily research duties of the office. Position is located in College Park, MD. In particular, these duties include coordinating fellowship applications, the Maryland Sea Grant summer undergraduate research program and managing funded research projects and funded fellowship students. Other duties include assisting with program strategic planning and program reporting efforts. Position includes some supervision of office student workers. A Ph.D. in marine science or a related field is preferred. Applicants must have strong writing and oral communication skills and computer proficiency.
