Hi,
I am writing on behalf of Sea Studios Foundation to ask for your assistance on a
National Geographic documentary film we are producing this year. I was wondering
if you know of any footage or time-lapse photography of algal blooms? We are also
looking for footage / stills of lobster walkouts and fish die offs due to harmful algal
blooms? Any ideas you might have would be most appreciated.
To give you a little background about Sea Studios Foundation and our
documentary, Sea Studios is a non-profit company based in the U.S.
Our Foundation is dedicated to raising environmental literacy and catalyzing
solutions to environmental problems.
We are currently in production on a National Geographic co-production
2-hour documentary film entitled Strange Days on Planet Earth: Season
Two. This film will spotlight key issues affecting the health of the
world ocean and highlight cutting edge scientific research. Our last
season of Strange Days on Planet Earth reached over 11 million
viewers and won top honors in film festivals around the world.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Hannah Smith Walker
