[ISSHA] Updated ISSHA website, including Council Meeting news

ISSHA Members (and perhaps some recent Members),

The ISSHA website (http://www.issha.org <http://www.issha.org> ) has
recently been updated with new information and a slightly modified format
(more substantial changes will occur in the future).

Please visit the website to view new information on:
  -  the recent Council meeting in Hornbaek, Denmark (including the
President's message, the minutes, Committees formed, and photos)
  -  announcements (including travel awards for the XIth International
Conference on Harmful Algae, and nomination requests for Science Awards and
for the next ISSHA Executive)
  -  job advertisements (well, one so far)
  -  membership benefits
  -  a revised (hopefully simplified) membership application procedure

In the future, we also wish to include:
  -  PhD thesis titles, abstracts and links
  -  a greater content of toxin chemistry, epidemiology, public health
issues, remote sensing, and monitoring programs
  -  links to HAB bibliographies (please contact me if you have one to
contribute)
  -  information on Special Projects (e.g. MAP-HAB, Aquatic Food Programme)

Information to contribute on any of the above should be sent to the Stephen
Bates (batess at dfo-mpo.gc.ca) or Nancy Lewis (Nancy.Lewis at nrc-cnrc.gc.ca).

The recent Council meeting has established Committees and provided momentum
for the Society to move ahead.  We look forward to working with our
membership.
