ISSHA Members,
You have been added to the ISSHA mailing list (International Society =
for
the Study of Harmful Algae) by Judy Kleindinst (WHOI mailing list
administrator; jkleindinst@whoi.edu) and Stephen Bates (ISSHA =
Secretary;
BatesS@mar.dfo-mpo.gc.ca).
Please save this message for future reference. If you ever need to =
leave
the list, you will find the necessary instructions below.
Information for ISSHA mailing list members:
To send e-mail to the ISSHA membership, use this address: =
issha@whoi.edu.
Replies to messages posted to the list server will be send to the =
poster
only. (This is done to avoid unintentionally sending personal mail to =
the
whole list.)
A webpage for users of the list is set up at the following URL:
http://www.whoi.edu/mailman/listinfo/issha
From this page, you can access the archives of mail messages, change =
your
protocol for how and when you receive e-mail, view the list of members =
and
unsubscribe from the list. In order to make these changes, you will =
need a
password.
A unique password will be automatically assigned to you by first =
entering
your e-mail address in the box at the bottom of the page referenced =
above,
clicking on the "Edit Options" button next to it, and then clicking on =
the
"Email My Password To Me" button on the next page. You can change your
password on that same page.
Any problems with accessing this page, sending e-mail, e-mail address
corrections etc., can be forwarded to Judy Kleindinst =
(jkleindinst@whoi.edu
<mailto:jkleindinst@whoi.edu>).
Please feel free to use this forum to discuss your ideas about future
directions for ISSHA, initiatives to be undertaken, amendments to the
Statutes, interests in Standing Committees, and the like. We will also =
use
the ISSHA list to distribute relevant information and announcements to
members.
Visit the updated and revised ISSHA webpage at =
http://www.cbr.nrc.ca/issha/.
ISSHA dues:
Membership dues are not being requested for 2000, because we are late =
in
getting started this year. However, kindly remember to renew your
membership for 2001 before December 31, 2000. Dues already paid in =
2000
(e.g., at Hobart) will be applied to 2001. From then on, dues will be =
due
on January 1st of every year.
Information for the PHYCOTOXINS mailing list:
While compiling the list for ISSHA, I noticed that many ISSHA members =
are
not on the PHYCOTOXINS mailing list. If you do wish to join =
PHYCOTOXINS:
