[Flex] question about NSF C&P template

Hi Karen,
I attached The COA FAQs which has verbiage that might help (fingers crossed). In the top portion, it instructs users not to vary from what is required
“The template has been developed to be fillable, however, the content and format requirements must not be altered by the user.” . A current and pending addendum would certainly qualify as altering the content requirements of the form, so not allowed. That’s how I am interpreting it, anyway.  I hope this helps!

Hi everyone,

I am working on an NSF lead proposal with 2 subawards.  one of the subs has sent me their C&P's using the NSF template.  They uploaded to fastlane with no problem at all, but they have added pages at the end of the template in a section called current and pending addendum "to provide the scope and delineation of research" for each of the projects on their C&P.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this before?  I do need some ammunition when speaking to them because they are not very helpful, and I've scoured the PAPPG, C&P instruction and C&P FAQ, proposal checklist, etc and can't find what I need which is the instruction not to add information that hasn't been requested.

Any thoughts welcome
