[Flex] submitting proposals to the Department of Energy (DOE)

Hi All,

Yesterday, I received an email from DOE. Apparently they had sent a letter to the email listed on the SF424 form - awards-doe at whoi.edu<mailto:awards-doe at whoi.edu> and it bounced. This is because this email address does not exist. One was never created for this agency. Since our volume is quite small for this agency, we have decided that the email address to be listed under item 19 (authorized representative) should be that of the signing official at least for the time being. Thus for example if I am the signing official, you should list ocarr at whoi.edu<mailto:ocarr at whoi.edu>.  If at some point down the road our volume of proposal submissions increases we will re-visit this decision and make any necessary changes.
