Hi All,

 

By way of reminder, below is an email I sent out about a week ago. Since
sending it I have gotten 2 rejections for the very reason sited in my
email to you - invalid file names for the attachments. Please keep the
requirement in mind when saving/attaching your attachments for
grants.gov submissions. The proposals will be rejected!

Dear All,

 

Below is an announcement posted on 8/24/12 regarding filename
attachments. Please read and be sure to adhere to the guideline. They
are enforcing this requirement.

 


New Application Attachment Filename Requirement

Attachment Filename Characters are now Validated and Enforced:

 

Beginning August 15, 2012, applicants are now limited to using the
following characters in all attachment file names. 

 

Valid file names may only include the following UTF-8 characters: 

 

A-Z, a-z, 0-9, underscore ( _ ), hyphen (-), space, period.

 

If applicants use any other characters when naming their attachment
files their applications will be rejected.
