Dear Flexers -
One of my collabs just sent this to me. I thought I'd give you all a
heads-up. I don't mean to panic you; however, maybe we should check on
our props?
Regards,
Sheila
*_Notification of a Potential FastLane Problem_*
*_ _*
It has been discovered that one RU application submitted to NSF via the
FastLane system over the week of February 16^th was incorrectly linked
to a proposal of another institution. FastLane was notified and has
determined that this error occurred during the system problems that
occurred over the course of that week. Unfortunately, FastLane is
unable to fix the problem from their end and additional steps are
required to take care of this.
ORSP is strongly suggesting that all PI’s who submitted applications
during the week of February 16^th (and in particular on February 17th)
please log into FastLane, do a “proposal status” check, make sure your
proposal is there and verify that it is not incorrectly linked to
another proposal. If you discover there is an error with the status of
your proposal, please contact your program officer immediately and copy
your grant specialist.
We must have permission from the program officer to proceed with any
actions in FastLane if there are linking errors.
