Hi,

Just in case you haven't noticed yet, there is a new Advisory from 
FastLane... 2006 Grants.gov Implementation Strategy...

There are going to be a few NSF programs that will require submission on 
Grants.gov!!  :'( Maybe we will be lucky and not apply to them...   ???

Most interesting -- a whole new set of Forms - SF424 (R&R).  These are 
very different than the 424s we have been using for NOAA.  Also 
different - The Budget Form -- completely different from FastLane.

So, my suggestion for now - if it is not required than use FastLane.  If 
it is required, be sure that your PIs know that you will need SEVERAL 
days to get the thing ready to submit and if it shows up on the due date 
it just plain won't get there!!
