Folks:

Would you please revise the last paragraph on the budget information
page of your proposals to read as follows:

"With the assistance of Pricewaterhouse Coopers, WHOI undertook at study
to determine what our 1997 combined F&A overhead rate would be if we
used the MTDC method used by most Universities which are subject to OMB
circular A-21.  We repeated the study and determined that our rate for
2000 would be 49.88%, lower than most research institutions and research
intensive universities."
