FYI - Here is clarification from NSF on the portrait vs landscape
requirement.

The Biology Department will convert c&p documents to portrait format, as
time permits.

Hope this is helpful for you all. Jane

Hi Jane:

I have just confirmed that as long as the page size is 8.5" x11",
orientation is ignored. Proposal documents can be submitted in either
portrait or landscape orientation. It is also OK to mix and match
within a
document, i.e. a project description can have most pages in portrait
format,
with a few tables or images in landscape format.

All the best,

Kandy

There have been questions recently about whether or not NSF requires the
current and pending support document in portrait format. We have been
submitting this document in landscape format, since it allows us to put
more information on one page, rather then two.

Thank you! Jane
