Hi Sheila and Karen:

Here are my thoughts on the green sheet/proposal log.  Please let me
know if you have questions.

Are keywords and geographical locations still required?  I heard they
weren't but our department will continue to enter them.

What exactly does Sandy want as the date the proposal must arrive at the
sponsor?  We've been told to put the target/deadline date however how
does Sandy know whether it's a target or a deadline?  Do we need to
enter another field to specify this or do we indicate this in special
instructions?

When a proposal is sent via Fastlane we put a zero down for the # of
copies to be sent to the agency, however, I heard that Sandy changes
this to 1 when she works on the green sheet on her end.

Would it help to send Sandy a hard copy of the staff directory at NSF?

What exactly does Sandy want to see in the address section and the
special instructions section?  Perhaps Sandy could take a look at the
document I sent yesterday (NSF Address Format for Green Sheet), and if
everyone agrees we could use that as a guide.
