Data-mongers:

Are you interested in data analysis with Python? WHOI's Data Science
Summer Series
<https://docs.google.com/drawings/d/1Y9kXVZZ3Fd2xJxW8gnIluXeHZ3M6QrGgqBzzuHm86VU/edit?usp=sharing>
continues this Monday July 22nd with an *introduction to the **Python
Data Analysis Library (pandas) <https://pandas.pydata.org/>* led by Joe
Futrelle (WHOI IS).

Come to *Clark 507 from noon to 1:30pm on July 22* to learn about this
open source library for manipulation and analysis of data tables and
time series data. Bring your laptop to interact with some of the
materials online.

Please note: due to limited time we are not going to be able to include
software installation for this workshop. However, we plan to host a
Software Carpentry Workshop with Python in October (if you are
interested, please email me if you have any preferred dates in October,
to aid with scheduling, thanks).

Sponsored by WHOI Doherty Chair in Education through Academic Programs
and co-sponsored by WHOI Ocean Informatics initiative, MBLWHOI Library,
and WHOI Information Services.

I'll be ordering pizza .

Best regards, Stace Beaulieu
