Dear participants of this summer's data workshop:

You may have noticed in Headlines that there is a special seminar
scheduled for this Weds. 10 AM, Smith Conf. Room:
"Working with the NODC to get the most value out of your data," by Krisa
Arzayus, Chief of Marine Data Stewardship Division and Acting Division
Chief of the Ocean Climate Laboratory at NOAA's National Oceanographic
Data Center (NODC).

Unfortunately, due to the gov't shutdown, Krisa may not be able to give
the seminar. However, she is offering the opportunity for us to meet and
discuss informally with her, about acquiring, archiving, enhancing
access to, and adding value to oceanographic data.

Please feel free to join me in this informal discussion, same time, same
place, if the seminar is cancelled.
Best regards,
Stace
