[Data-Mongers] Noon Monday, 4/4 Informatics Talk - Lightning Talks

The next Informal Lunch Talk will be:

When: Noon, Monday, April 4, 2011
Where: 104/105 Candle House on the MBL Campus (map)
What: Lightning Talks

It has been suggested that for the next Monday Noon Informatics Hour we should do Lightning Talks. 
Here is how it will work. Prepare to give a 5 minute presentation on a project you are working on or a cool tool or technique you have learned about or anything else informatics related... something that has grabbed your attention lately and you want to share with the group.

Prepare a 5 minute informal talk with a few slides if you like. Bring a laptop with you (and an adaptor for the projector) to show the slides or do the demo. If you don't have a laptop to use, send the slides to Holly (hmiller at mbl.edu) by Sunday April 3 midnight and we will have them available for you.
