[Data-Mongers] Informatics Talk this Friday (6/4) @4pm: Lisa Raymond, Cyndy Chandler, Andy Maffei on "Data Management at WHOI"

Dear Informaticians,

Our next informal talk be held this Friday, June 4 at 4 PM in Starr 209 on the MBL campus (map).  Lisa Raymond, Cyndy Chandler and Andy Maffei of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution will talk about "Data Management at WHOI".

After 5 pm discussions can continue over some refreshing beverages at the Captain Kidd or other local pub of the group's choosing.

The series is held every other Friday and there is a wiki page for these and other Informatics events in Woods Hole. Please let us know of any informatics related event to add.  We are also seeking speakers, so let us know if you'd like to speak or have a suggestion for a speaker.  Feel free to forward this email to anyone who might be interested and encourage them to subscribe to the Informatics discussion list to learn about future events.
