[Data-Mongers] 4 pm Friday 5/7 Informatics Talk - P. Neal - Using R to analyze marine microbial communities

Dear fellow Informatics-inclined folks,

Our next informal Friday Afternoon Informatics Talk be held:
Friday, May 7th at 4 PM in Starr 209 on the MBL campus (map).

Phillip Neal will talk about his work using R (Statistical Package) to analyze marine microbial communities (summary and brief bio). 

After 5 pm discussions can continue over some refreshing beverages at the Captain Kidd or other local pub of the group's choosing.

The Friday afternoon talks will be every other Friday. We have created a wiki page for these and other Informatics events in Woods Hole. Please let us know if you about any informatics related event. Please forward this to anyone who might be interested and encourage them to subscribe to the Informatics discussion list to learn about future events.

Please contact us if you would like to present. We have lots of open slots in late June and July.
