Dear fellow Informatics-inclined folks,

The first Informal Friday Afternoon Informatics Talk will be held this Friday, March 26th at 4 PM in Starr 209 on the MBL campus (map). John Furfey from the MBLWHOI Library will show us Managing News and some of the other Drupal applications the Library is using and talk about how they are being used. As this discussion is informal it can evolve from there to other uses of Drupal in Woods Hole if people want to share. After 5 pm discussions can continue over some refreshing beverages at the Captain Kidd or other local pub of the group's choosing.

The Friday afternoon talks will be every other Friday. We have created a wiki page for these and other Informatics events in Woods Hole. Please let us know if you about any informatics related event. Those of you who haven't subscribed to the Informatics discussion list, you might want to. Information on how to subscribe is on the wiki page above.
