Woods Hole Area Informatics Network (WHAIN) and WHOI Datamongers:

Peter Magnifico, MBL Bio-Informatics team-member, asked me to forward this to folks who might be interested in some regular get-togethers about informatics. I think this is a great idea and want to thank Peter for taking the initiative on this. Please consider filling out his suveymonkey so he can see what level of interest we're talking about here.

> Hi All,

> In order to help bring together the informatics community in Woods Hole on a regular basis, we'd like to hold regular get-togethers. The Biodiversity Informatics Group of the MBL holds an occasional Friday afternoon seminar (FOBS - Friday Occasional Biodiversity Seminar) and informal after-hours at the Captain Kidd, and we would like to expand the reach and hold each more regularly. We seek your input and suggestions via the survey below.

> Andy: if you can pass it around those who would be interested at WHOI, that would be great. Everyone else: feel free to pass along to folks not on the email distribution lists.
>
> Note that it's built using a free SurveyMonkey account with a 100 response limit, but if we get more than 100 responses, that'll be a great success!
