[Data-Mongers] Upcoming Workshop on Sensor Metadata

The Marine Metadata Interoperability Project is holding a Sensor Metadata
Interoperability workshop October 19-20, 2006, in Portland, Maine. The
meeting will focus on the content standards needed for data systems to
work with and exchange sensor metadata.

This will be another of MMI's hands-on workshops, and it will be a good
opportunity for members of the Woods Hole marine research community
to share expertise with technical experts from around the country.
