Please mark your calendar for June 21-23 for a workshop at WHOI, if you 
are involved in use or distribution of real time oceanographic data.

It is being funded by NOAA with support from Oceans.US and CICOR/WHOI.

Most of the workshop will be conducted in roll-your-sleeves-up break out 
groups of interest.  The defined areas are waves, in-situ currents and 
CTDs.  There is room for an additional group, as interest dictates. 
Suggested topics are water parameters:  chlorophyll, DO and turbidity. 
But we could also consider other tops (such as wind).  There have been 
past efforts in SST, HF RADAR.  But they have either fizzled out or gone 
off on their own.  Each group is focusing on a different aspect of 
QA/QC.  Check out the site http://qartod.org.
