[Data-Mongers] Data Managers meeting, Weds Mar 22

of your area of interest;  next time I'll just use the data-mongers
email list (to which you may subscribe, at the URL at the end
of this message) .

The "second inaugural" meeting of WHOI data managers will take
place on Wednesday, March 22,  at 12:15 in the MRF conference
room  (room 204 in the new Marine Research Facility) in Quissett.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss some current data management
projects at WHOI and elsewhere, and to determine the level of interest
in reviving the DataMongers group for  meetings, presentations,
and/or other functions.

We hope to have a few very brief informal presentations (no powerpoints
allowed) on some projects in which WHOI staff are participating:
GoMODP,  GeoBrowser,  WHOI-DPPP,  ORION CI,  MMI,  etc.
Please bring your own acronyms, ideas for future meetings,  and
your lunch. 

Anyone from the greater Woods Hole community who is interested in
data management, interoperability, or informatics is encouraged to attend.
