[Beekeepers] Beekeepers (short notice) Informational Zoom Meeting Thursday

Greetings, WHOI Bee Enthusiasts!

Although you'd never guess by our recent temps and weather, spring is upon us! That means our WHOI hives will need our support to get a good head start building stores and brood for the season... AND, that a package (containing a new queen plus about 3lbs of nurse and worker bees) is headed our way as I type; scheduled to arrive for installation into its new home this Saturday!

So, if you're curious about what the core bee group has been up to, or even better, if you are interested in getting involved in beekeeping this season (at either hive location), please join us for a quick, impromptu zoom meet up of the WHOI Beekeepers Group, tomorrow (Thursday) at 1PM --with apologies for the late notice. We'll touch base on recent activities and outline a plan for the coming ones. If you are especially interested in helping with the installation of the package this Saturday, then please make a point to attend, or reach out to Neel Aluru to ensure we have a headcount to plan.
