Hi Post-Docs,

This past year, I have served as the post-doc rep on the Women's Committee. This is a one-year post, and I am cycling off.

The Women's Committee is seeking nominations for a new post-doc rep member. Nominate yourself or someone else via this form<https://web.whoi.edu/womens-comm/womens-committee-nomination-form/> by November 15.

The Women’s Committee meets once a month (in-person or virtual). Together, we champion activities like the polar plunge, mental health awareness, a seminar session, and raise to address issues and concerns of gender minorities at WHOI. The Women's Committee has been around since the 1970s and is in the final stages of revising our Charter. Next year will be an exciting one!

Feel free to contact the WHOI Women’s Committee chairs Jessica Kozik<mailto:jkozik at whoi.edu>, Sophie Hines<mailto:shines at whoi.edu>, or me if you have questions. Learn more HERE<https://web.whoi.edu/womens-comm/>.

Thanks,

Johanna
