[All-postdocs] Show Support for the WHOI GSU at Thursday's Town Hall

Hi Postdocs,

As you may be aware, the WHOI Graduate Student Union (GSU) has been actively working towards better research and working conditions for all of us. We believe that a united front is a strong one, and we need your support now more than ever.

TL;DR: Please wear blue and a union button during Peter's upcoming state of the institution town hall, this Thursday the 25th at . This is a nondisruptive action aimed at showing our collective strength and commitment to the cause.  By wearing blue and sporting our union button, we are visually demonstrating our unity and determination for positive change at WHOI. If you do not yet have a button and would like one, we will be handing them out before the event at the base of the Clark stairs.

If you're unfamiliar with the WHOI GSU, we're a collective of graduate student-workers seeking to form a recognized union. Our goal is to collectively bargain for improved research and working conditions, including addressing housing insecurity, strengthening harassment policies, supporting international students and fellows, enhancing healthcare insurance and compensation, and ensuring workplace and at-sea protections.
