With regret, we have been forced to push Tropical Party by one week to Saturday, June 25th 2022. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this has caused! If you already venmoed Jule for drinks, but can no longer attend, please either request money from Jule on Venmo or shoot them an email (jemiddle at mit.edu).


Likewise, if you would like beer, alcoholic punch, or seltzers on the 25th (for those who are 21+), please venmo @jmidds by Wednesday, June 22nd.


We hope that we will still see you there!

Where: 430 Woods Hole Road, entry down the long driveway at 2 Huettner

(the driveway is located at 2 Huettner, please park on Huettner or Wilson and make an effort to park on only one side of the street!)

Hello esteemed colleagues,


Passed down through myth and lore, whispers of lush jungles and phat beatz are swirling

Off it's usual rotation of bringing some heat during the long winter months, we're having our first summertime ~*Tropical Party*~

?We'll have light snacks, delicious drinks of all varieties, and a dance floor to show off your best bird of paradise moves (bird costumes and hawaiian shirts encouraged).


If you want beer, alcoholic punch, or seltzers, please venmo @jmidds by Wednesday, June 15th.


With an eye toward covid, this will be a WHOI, WHOI affiliates, and PEP party! There will be two indoor spaces, one with many open windows, and an outdoor patio (many options dependent on your comfort level!). While it won't be checked, if you have the ability to take a rapid test right before coming, please do!
