[All-postdocs] Selling some things!

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re having a good week! I’m moving back to the UK in June and am looking to sell my car, laptop and external monitor before I go! I will need my car and laptop until close to my departure date, but I thought I’d post here in case anyone is thinking of getting a new car/laptop in the coming months : )

My monitor is a Dell 23” monitor. I have cables to connect to a macbook and a dell computer. My VGA cable is faulty though (works, but makes the screen a little trippy with a weird double shadow), so I’d recommend getting your own VGA cable! I’m selling the monitor for $100

My laptop is a Dell XPS  13 9300 with Ubuntu 20.04 operating system. It has 1 TB storage, 4 cores and 16 GB RAM. I bought the computer for $1500 back in August and I’m looking to sell it for $1000 (my new job doesn’t require me to have my own computer, and this one is way too extra to just have as a personal computer!). I’m hoping to use the computer until the week of May 24th.

My car is a white 2007 Subaru Legacy Outback. It has 184000 miles on the Odometer. I replaced the rear brake pads, tires, and battery this year. I’m looking for $2000 for the car, and I’m also looking to use the car until the week of May 24th.

I’ve attached photos of all three items (the car now has MA plates), and I’m happy to chat more if you are interested and have questions! Also...if anyone wants the copy of ‘The R Book’ that I’m currently using as a laptop stand...I am giving that away for free...
