[All-postdocs] Registration for Broader Impacts Workshop, July 15, 1:30-3:00pm

Dear Post docs and JP,

 

Have you ever wanted to write an influential and meaningful broader impacts
statement for your grant, application, or report? Do you want to tap into
existing outreach networks at WHOI to do so? WHOI's
<https://web.whoi.edu/big/> Broader Impacts Group (BIG) is hosting a Broader
Impacts Workshop! 

 

The overall goal of this workshop is to foster an exchange of expertise and
ideas for designing meaningful and successful broader impacts components of
research projects/proposals. We also want to (re)introduce BIG to everyone
at WHOI as a student and staff-run organization that can be a resource to
facilitating outreach at WHOI and in the broader community. 

 

This workshop will feature Aisha Morris from NSF as well as a panel of WHOI
scientists, including, Ken Buesseler, Rob Evans, Julie Huber, and Anna
Michel, who will share insights from their successful outreach programs. 

 

Date: Thursday July 15

Time: 1:30-3:00pm
