Hi all,

Hope you are well and healthy. Just a reminder that the Presidential Search Committee is still working hard and needs input from everyone at WHOI. In particular, there has been an effort by the Committee for Diversity and Inclusion and the letter that the Post Doc Association sent to the administration urging WHOI to focus on increasing diversity and inclusion. This should be a priority for the new President.

The committee is gathering input on the Presidential Search by email and an online survey - and there is a whole web page devoted to the search with more information. We need to make sure that the Search Committee knows that the WHOI community wants the next WHOI President to value diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This is just a reminder to take a few minutes and either email comments/questions to the committee via WHOIPresident at spencerstuart.com <mailto:WHOIPresident at spencerstuart.com> or go to the web page and take the survey https://intranet.whoi.edu/presidentialsearch/ <https://intranet.whoi.edu/presidentialsearch/>. I believe both are anonymous. Any questions can be directed to the email or to the Search Committee co-Chairs, Amy Bower and Mike Esposito.

Best,
Eily Allan
