[All-postdocs] Happy Hour next Thurs Aug 6th, 7PM

Hi postdocs & postdoc-adjacent people,

If you can believe it, the last postdoc virtual happy hour was a smashing
success. So, we are going to do another one. However, I'm going to try
something to make it *more like real life and less like zoom*. I read a medium
post

(which makes me an expert now). The idea is to make many breakout rooms,
and make everyone co-hosts. Then as a co-host, you have the ability to move
between breakout rooms, and you can also see who is in each room.

Hopefully small groups that you can choose yourself will feel more normal,
because how often are you having a conversation with 12 people all at once?
We can also randomize groups of 2-3 people to start.

If you are interested in chatting with your fellow postdocs, experimenting
with zoom, or playing quiplash, then come check it out! Remember, this is
still a BYOBSSS (bring your own beer, soda, snacks, shelter) event.
