[All-postdocs] Mentoring Program 2020-2021

Dear WHOI graduate students and postdocs,

We are happy to announce the launch of the 2020-2021 Mentoring Program. New
this year and based on feedback from several students and postdocs, we will
institute a three-pronged approach to mentoring:

- Undergraduate students mentored by graduate students (second-years and up)
- Pre-generals graduate students mentored by post-generals students
- Post-generals students mentored by postdocs


If you are interested in receiving mentorship and/or being a mentor, please
fill out the form below by August 7th 11:59pm PST. The form provides us
with vital information which we use to pair a mentee with a mentor. We try
as far as possible to pair you with someone outside your research group so
that you receive independent, fresh mentorship.

PLEASE FILL OUT THIS FORM EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED A MENTOR/MENTEE
FOR THE PREVIOUS ACADEMIC YEAR. For all those who wish to be mentors, we
are organising a mandatory mentor training at the end of August.

We aim to send out all mentor-mentee pairings before the start of the Fall
semester, on August 28 2020. Your timely response is much appreciated.
