Saturday 7:30PM, at the Coonamessett Inn Falmouth
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/magic-on-the-cape-live-at-the-coonamessett-inn-tickets-94079818269

Get ready for an evening of incredible magic that you've never seen before!

Bob Riordan and Shawn Mullins are professional magicians from Cape Cod,
Massachusetts. Each has built an astounding reputation performing their
brand of magic all over the world. Join them, as they take their talents
to Falmouth’s Coonamessett Inn.

Here is your chance to see TWO great close-up magicians performing
inches away from your seat. This is a rare opportunity that cannot be
missed.

Bob Riordan, a graduate of the famed Chavez College of Magic, fully
embodies the term ‘entertainer.’ With an abundance of lively audience
participation, Bob reaches out so everyone feels personally involved,
creating an atmosphere of intrigue and excitement. Bob clearly has a
global appeal with a client list that includes the King of Sweden,
InBev, the Prime Minister of Ireland, and Harvard University. He has
currently performed in 27 countries!

Shawn Mullins, a highly respected magician in the Boston area, loves to
share his quick wit and fun brand of magic with audiences along the east
coast. Specializing in small-audience entertainment, Shawn crafts a
beautiful experience of sleight-of-hand, humor and wonder. He currently
helps new magicians learn magic and has consulted for magicians
appearing on both Ellen and America’s Got Talent.

*/OUR MBL ENGLISH//LANGUAGE////TUTORING// PROGRAM/, *
*available for the MBL International Community (READ AT BOTTOM FOR WHOI
NOTE)*

For many years we have had an informal language tutoring program to
assist members of our international community
who asked for assistance using the English languagein your work and in
your day - to - day life.

This conversational program has always been informal, we have based it
upon training held at MBL and WHOI over the years,
and our own experiences living in countries outside of the US.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It has ranged from assisting people who think they would like extra
experience speaking English either professionally or in everyday
conversation, or both areas.
What the program is not...is a structured grammar program. There's
another program in in Falmouth which is more structured around grammar.
Sometimes we have even assisted more fluent speakers of English who wish
to increase their speaking opportunities within the context of their
lives, sometimes as informally as having lunch together, or taking a
walk around Eel Pond.
We pair up volunteers from the MBL community for one hour a week with
people seekinglanguageassistance, when people let us know they are
interested in having alanguagetutor.
We have done one-on-one tutoring, tutoring around lunch time,
tutoring while hiking around Woods Hole.
Just respond to me if you are interested in this - and I will get back
to you. Matt - mperson at mbl.edu
