Hi all,

Since we are moving on May 31st, we are selling our 14 ft. aluminium boat,
which we purchased in April 2017 from postdocs Randie and Mattias (see
their original description below). We were thrilled to have a boat last
summer, taking it to Devil's Foot, Waquoit Bay, and even Martha's Vineyard.
My husband is a professional mariner and he took excellent care of the
boat, including all the required maintenance, some improvements to the
engine, gearbox, and trailer, and freshwater rinses after each use. We keep
the boat in our driveway and transport it with a Hyundai Sonata.

We put the boat in the water today and everything works great, so it is
turn-key ready for you to use this summer. We are asking for $3750 for the
boat, engine, trailer, cover, products, and additional accessories (lobster
traps, fishing rod, etc.), which reflects the additional investments we put
into it. The boat is perfect for fishing, crabbing, and pulling right up to
the beach for the day or Landfall for a couple of drinks.

Many of our best memories this past year have been while out on the boat!
Let us know if you have any questions.

Kate and Chris

*Description from previous owners, Randie and Mattias, in March 2016:*

*We have a 14 ft. Mirrocraft aluminum boat for sale with the accompanying
trailer, perfect for cruising around the Cape (see pics attached). The boat
is water tight, and has been well-loved by us for two years. We have
documented everything we have done to fix it, including replacing and
refinishing the outer steering console, new fuel tank and lines, battery,
and fixed and repaired cleats. We also recently replaced the benches with
brand new wooden benches.*

*The boat has a 28 horsepower Johnson 2-stroke engine (1988) which runs
well (videos available of its last fall trip to Martha's Vineyard in
November 2016). The boat comes with an anchor, lifejackets, other required
safety gear (e.g. a paddle). We also have a canvas cover for the boat to
protect it from the elements. We have taken the boat all over the Woods
Hole, from Woods Hole to Martha's Vineyard, and often to Naushon. We wish
we didn't have to sell it but we are moving. The trailer is the perfect size
for the boat, and we have replaced the trailer springs, bolts, hubs and
running lights. All fittings and bolts are in good condition and have been
rinsed with freshwater after every use. The trailer registration is current
in MA.*
