Come participate in a very fun and funny tradition that began in Woods 
Hole in 1980.  It ran every year but one from 1980-1985 
<http://www.whoi.edu/75th/regatta/index.html> and was resurrected for 
WHOI's 75th anniversary 
<https://www.whoi.edu/oceanus/feature/anything-but-a-boat-regatta> in 
2005.  It looks like you're in luck because the contest is being held
