[All-postdocs] SWMS Spring Symposium

 Hello,

We are very excited to announce registration for the 1st Annual SWMS Spring
Symposium is now open here <http://www.regonline.com/swmsspringsymposium>.
The program will focus on mentoring and career choices available to women
and other minorities in marine science. Our keynote speakers will be Dr.
Bethany Jenkins (URI) and Catalina Martinez (NOAA). We will also have
workshops led by other marine scientists, networking opportunities, and
abundant time for small group discussions; a tentative agenda and workshop
ideas are provided in the registration. You can find the programs from our

More information about the symposium:
*Who should attend*: Anyone interested in advancing women in marine science
(all genders welcome!)
*When*: Saturday, March 24th 2018
*Where*: URI Graduate School of Oceanography, Narragansett RI
*Cost*: We have a tiered payment structure:

Undergraduates: $25
Graduate students: $25
Non-students: $30


Thanks to generous donations from sponsors, there will be a free option,
and an inability to pay should not stop you from attending the symposium!

We will close registration on February 28th to accommodate some URI
financial deadlines…don’t wait to sign up!. We will have a waitlist for
anyone who signs up after that or if registration fills before that time.
