[All-postdocs] Question about MA tax for foreigners with tax treaty

Hi everyone,

For those who are not foreigners or under a tax treaty, sorry for the
spamming!

If there is anyone out there who is exempt for US taxes under a tax treaty
(but earned more than $8000 in 2017), do you know:
A) If you still have to file Form 1-NR/PY (MA non-resident tax return)?
B) If so: How to fill out this form?

I would be very grateful for any input on this, as a morning of googling
did not get me any closer to an answer.
