Dear early career scientists,
This is reminder about the "Access to the Sea" workshop on June 15th,
from 3 to 4:30 PM (see the original invitation below). The workshop
will be in Carriage House (#19 on the map), on the Quissett Campus:

Note that you are still welcome to join us even if you did not RSVP.

To all early career scientists,
You are invited to an "Access to the Sea" workshop on June 15th, from
3 to 4:30 PM. The workshop will be followed by a reception. The goal
of this workshop if for early career scientists (graduate students,
postdocs and assistant scientists) to learn more about all of the aspects
involved with going to sea, including writing a proposal to request ship time,
planning, scheduling, logistics, dealing with shipboard issues,
staffing, etc.
During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to ask your
questions to our four invited panelists:
1) John Alberts (University National Oceanographic Laboratory System
(UNOLS) Executive Secretary)
2) Mary Murphy (Department Administrator, Marine Chemistry &
Geochemistry, WHOI)
3) Magdelana Andres (Associate Scientist, Physical Oceanography)
4) Tim Shank (Associate Scientist, Biology, WHOI)
