Hi Everyone,

We'd like to share the details of our next networking night.  Our first networking event had nearly 100 postdocs and 15 industry professionals and was a great success.  We're hoping outdo ourselves this time!  

Here's how you can help:

1) Please forward the announcement below to your postdocs!  I've attached a poster in PDF and JPEG formats for you to share.

2) If you have a friend in Industry who might be interested in attending this event or an upcoming event (our next event will likely be in late August) please reach out to them or forward their contact information!  We're looking to expand our database of former postdocs who would be willing to meet current postdocs and help expand their professional networks.

Also, we've created a career development-focused google groups mailing list to share events that are of interest to BPDA member postdocs (https://groups.google.com/d/forum/bpda-careers-announce).  Registering is easy- simply enter your email address and when asked, your institution.  Members can post events and job posting.  We hope this will become a valuable resource for our fellow postdocs!

Please forward any events that are open to postdocs outside of your institution to myself, Ania Wronski (anna.wronski at tufts.edu) or Swetha Murali (swetha.murali at childrens.harvard.edu) or post them directly on the mailing list.
