Dear Sir / Madam,

Scientific studies show that biking is not only a sustainable and environmentally friendly commuting mode; it also has many significant health benefits. We cordially invite your company to participate in a specially designed program to encourage biking designed by the MIT Media Lab.

The program is organized as a competitive bicycling tournament between organizations including companies, NGOs, and academic institutions located within the Boston/Cambridge area. Participating organizations will benefit not only from receiving public recognition, but they will also create a more positive and healthy work environment.

We are soliciting interested parties for the competition, which will start on August 24th, 2015, and will run for about two months. This “Bike Tourney” is uniquely designed to be minimally evasive in order to lower barriers for participation. We would be happy to discuss details on the program in person or via telephone, if you are interested in having employees from your organization join this program.
