Dear postdocs,

Sarah Das and I are planning to teach the Joint Program Course on
climate change ('Climate Change Science: Facts, Questions, Controversies
and Communication') this semester again. We taught the course last year
to a mix of students, post-docs and one assistant scientist and the
feedback was positive. A description of the course is attached.

The course will be taught at WHOI, we meet once a week for 90 min from
the week of Feb 5th to May 16th. We are presently scheduled for 1-2:30
on Thursday but the time may change depending on conflicts.

This course is open to WHOI postdocs, as well as to JP students, and we
hope to see some of you there. Because this course is primarily based on
participation and discussion, we ask that if you take the course you
commit to doing the relatively small amount of work required
(contributing to several group presentations, short written assignments
and a final project).

If you are interested in taking it please let me know, it would help us
to know roughly what class size we are looking at.
Cheers
Fiamma
