Until recently there had been a lot of diatoms including Rhizosolenia. Today it may have been a bit of a transition to flagellates, although there are, and have been, some Chaetoceros convolutus and Chaetoceros Phaeoceros (e.g., Ch. socialis, etc) present. Recently some Alexandrium catenella showing up (the harbinger of Heterosigma blooms in recent years, but so far not a bloom of either). There was one solitary Heterosigma seen in the samples.
