<BODY><P>Heterosigma abundance on 6/30/11 in East Sound, Orcas I. peaked at ~1-2 million cells/L, primarily at 1 and 5 m with the highest abundance in the center of the Sound. A sample from the dock at Friday Harbor labs on 6/29/11 came in at ~2 million/L. The samples contained mixed flagellates with Nocticula also dominating.</P>
