<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The Buzzards Bay National Estuary Program would like to announce the availability of $75,000 in grant funds. The FY23 Buzzards Bay Watershed Stormwater Management and Wastewater Engineering Services Grant
Program announcement has been posted on the COMMBUYS website. We are seeking </span>
proposals for municipal stormwater and wastewater related projects.<span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Eligible projects include:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoEndnoteText" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">1) Stormwater remediation designs for discharges affecting marine waters.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoEndnoteText" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">2) Implementation and construction of existing stormwater designs for discharges affecting marine waters.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoEndnoteText" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">3) Support for tasks to achieve
<a name="_Hlk92359038">Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System </a>(MS4) compliance.</span><span class="footnoteref"><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoEndnoteText" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">4) Feasibility studies and conceptual plans to enhance nitrogen removal from municipal wastewater treatment facilities using innovative or unconventional
approaches.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">This solicitation is open to municipalities within the Buzzards Bay Watershed, including: Fall River, Westport, Dartmouth, New Bedford, Acushnet, Fairhaven, Rochester, Mattapoisett, Marion, Wareham, Middleborough,
Carver, Plymouth, Bourne, Falmouth, and Gosnold. However, all projects must be located within the Buzzards Bay watershed.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Proposals must be submitted electronically and are due
<b>Tuesday, April 12, 2022 by 4:00 PM</b>. <span style="color:black">Applicants must provide a non-federal match that will equal or exceed 33 percent of requested grant funds (i.e., 25 percent of total project costs).
</span>The RFP's Question and Answer period will close 4:00 PM, Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span class="BodyTextChar"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Eligible municipalities may submit any number of applications per grant category but are limited to receiving a maximum of two grant awards. No single grant award may
exceed $25,000. Contracts are expected to begin July 1, 2022 and last for approximately one year.</span></span><span class="BodyTextChar"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></span></p>
