The 9<sup>th</sup> Annual <b>Whale Week: A
Celebration of the Sea</b> will be held <b>July
28 through August 3, 2019</b> in Provincetown, MA. Organized by the Center for
Coastal Studies, Whale Week was started in 2011 with the goal of raising awareness
about our ocean, marine mammals, marine debris, and coastal and marine
ecosystems through engaging educational activities. <span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;line-height:150%;background:white none repeat scroll 0% 0%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><span> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;line-height:150%;background:white none repeat scroll 0% 0%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">This special celebration features several programs and
events throughout the week for a variety of ages. Signature events scheduled
during the week include the <i>Run the
Trails for the Whales 5K</i> on Sunday, July 28<sup>th</sup>, and the <i>Homemade Boat Race</i> on Thursday, August 1<sup>st</sup>.
Both activities are fundraisers for the Center for Coastal Studies’ education
department and require participants to register. <span></span></p>

juried contest will be received on July 21, 2019 and an Opening Reception to
view the images will be held Sunday, July 28 at Center for Coastal Studies
located at 5 Holway Ave, Provincetown, MA. <span></span></p>
