12.0pt;font-weight:normal">The Camp Instructor will teach and lead nature and environmental education activities for children aged 6-11. The camp site is in the urban Roger Williams
Park in Providence, RI based out of the Botanical Center. This camp is offered through a partnership between the Audubon Society of Rhode Island and the city’s Partnership for Providence Parks.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<li><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal">Develop and lead natural history lessons, both outdoor and indoor activities, games, and art, craft and science projects.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal">Ensure campers’ health and safety.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal">Maintain clear communications with Audubon staff, Parks staff, parents and campers.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal">Attend staff trainings in June before the camp sessions begin.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal">Maintain the camp facilities to keep children healthy and to keep the area we share with the Botanical Center neat and tidy.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">

<span style="font-size: 12pt;">Camp Instructors will oversee any interns or volunteers that will assist during the camp weeks.</span><br style="font-size: 12pt;">

<li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Camp Instructor must be 21 years or older.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Camp Instructor should ideally have experience and background in environmental education or teaching science, and in working with children.</span></li></ul>

</span><o:p></o:p></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal">Instructor must be willing and able to work outdoors for the majority of the day.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal">Instructor will be most successful in working with these unique campers from urban populations by cultivating a sense of humor andenthusiasm, and by demonstrating patience.<o:p></o:p></span></li><li><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:normal">Instructor must have current certification in Community CPR and First Aid or be willing to become certified.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
