The water station is an initiative of Falmouth ReFill ReUse, a Falmouth Water Stewards project. The water station includes a water fountain, has an area to refill water bottles, is ADA compliant and offers a water basin for thirsty dogs. <br><div>As part of its mission to protect the health of fresh and marine waters, Falmouth Water Stewards wants to promote the use of refillable water bottles instead of single-use plastic.</div><br><div>The water station at Peg Noonan Park is one of two water stations that Falmouth Water Stewards is bringing to Falmouth thanks to the support of the Town of Falmouth and a grant from the Falmouth Road Race. The second water station is being installed this summer at Falmouth Heights Ballfield.</div><br><div>Falmouth Water Stewards is planning to raise funds through grants and donations to install more water stations in Falmouth. </div><br><div>Falmouth Water Stewards is a 501c3 nonprofit based in Falmouth. Its mission is to protect, preserve and restore Falmouth’s bays, estuaries, salt ponds and fresh waters through education, advocacy and citizen science.</div></div></td></tr></tbody></table></body></html>
