visitors come to enjoy nature’s beauty. Beginning on <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>June 6<sup>th</sup></span></b> and continuing each
Wednesday morning at 10:00am in June, July and August, an informal guided tour
of the award-winning garden is conducted by a knowledgeable volunteer. The
one-third acre garden contains over 300 plants consisting of three zones:
shaded hillside, wetlands bordering a fresh water pond, and open meadow. The
fee of $3 for members of the Thornton W. Burgess Society, $5 for non-members,
helps to support garden maintenance. Advance registration is not required for

continue in the historic Green Briar Jam Kitchen in <st1:place w:st="on">East
Sandwich</st1:place>. Join in the fun making your own jars of something
special to take home and enjoy or give as a gift. Expert instruction and all
materials are provided to make 4 to 6 jars of product. Wednesday evening classes
for adults meet from 6pm to 8pm. On <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>June 6</span></b>
make strawberry apricot jam; <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>June 13</span></b>
make June fruit jam; and <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>June 27</span></b>
make mango ginger jam. Saturday morning classes for adults meet from 9:30am
to 11:30am. On <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>June 2</span></b> make
strawberry apricot jam; <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>June 23</span></b>
make blueberry peach jam; <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>June 30</span></b>
make strawberry mango jam or strawberry jam. Saturday afternoon classes for an
adult and child working together meet from 1pm to 3pm. On <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>June 2</span></b> make strawberry apricot jam; <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>June 23</span></b> make blueberry peach jam or
blueberry jam; <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>June 30</span></b> make
strawberry mango jam or strawberry jam. Children must be at least 6 years old
to work in the kitchen. The fee per workshop is $40 for members of the Thornton
W. Burgess Society, $50 for non-members. The fee includes one adult and one
